New York, New York

Hello, this is our trip that we took to New York City earlier this year. We went with our good friends Trent and Heather Jensen and their new born son Marshal. They are in our ward and he is out here from Idaho for medical school. He served his mission in New York and was kind enough to give us a free tour.

The Manhattan Temple right smack dab in the middle of New York City along Broadway. I believe this is also the stake center. Part of it is a temple and part of it is a church. There use to be three full size basketball courts inside (so I've been told).

Central Park. It is such an awesome place. The view all around is amazing and the park is so big. I was surprised how many runners/walkers/strollers we saw around the perimeter. There were alot.

You didn't know they had a street named after me next to the World Trade Center did ya.

The makings of a new bigger and badder World Trade Center.

This is what it is suppose to look like when they are done.

The tiny little street that has had such a huge impact on the countries economy.

The Stock Exchange. We are not certain but we believe they were throwing around billions and billions of dollars inside.

If you look behind us and to the left that pretty much is the length of Wall Street. Just big enough to have the Stock exchange and one other building.

George Washington Monument. This is where the presidents originally swore into office.

Guess what movie this is in? (hint: the shot is taken from the back end)

The Trinity Church in National Treasurer

If there is something strange in the neighborhood. Who you gonna call? . . . Ghostbusters!

Dano is pretty excited to go down Broadway. . .

. . . And this is why . . .

. . . and this is why . . .

. . . and this is why and there are many more reasons why.

I couldn't find anything square about Time Square. But there is a lot to see there.

This was the "real" reason why we came to New York.

The ferry to Staton Island. With the Big Apple in the back ground.

And of course the Subway. It will get you everywhere you need to go.
New York was fun and there is so much to see. We were very grateful that we were able to go and share the adventure with our good friends the Jensens.
note: For those that didn't know, the bull was in Hitch.
